Faber Shipping ApS is a small independent shipping & consultancy company working mainly as dedicated Shipbroker within the seaborne transportation of bulk cement.

Faber Shipping ApS is dedicated to remain small enough to be able to give its selected clients the prompt and daily care they require and to give personal attention to the client's demands and small enough to remain responsible and innovative on its approach to any problem within its line of business.

Company

Faber Shipping ApS was established in 1990 under the laws and registry of Denmark. The company is situated in Vedbaek north of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.

Ownership

The company is 100% owned by the director, Mr Jens Faber Andersen, born in 1947, who has a degree as Naval Architect from the Institute of Naval Architecture as well as being a Bachelor of International Commerce from Copenhagen Management Institute.

Curriculum Vitae

The Director, Jens Faber Andersen, has for four years been working as a Naval Architect at one major Danish shipyard and has later for eight years been acting as a sales manager for another Danish shipyard specialized in the designing and building of cement carriers.

For five years Jens Faber Andersen has worked as president for various companies dealing with marine equipment and power plant engineering.

For more than 25 years (divided into two periods) Jens Faber Andersen has been actively involved in the transportation of bulk cement acting as broker as well as advisor and consultant for various international cement companies and traders.

Mission

It is the aim of Faber Shipping ApS to assist our selected clients by offering our services and consultancy analyses primarily in a joint project with our clients. We feel that too many reports and economical studies, also within the cement industry, have been performed by consultants who for various reasons do not have the knowledge or understanding of the actual demands of the clients. Consequently either the project has not materialized or the solution does not fit into the actual need of the clients.
